Have a taste of the Harbin Sausage

Harbin Sausage is very famous in China, especially in the north, for its unique flavor and spices. Its name comes from the city it originates, Harbin. Yishou shop (First Hand Shop) is an exclusive agent which offers authentic Harbin Sausage, and owns 8 outlets in Beijing.

I went to the Yishou outlet near Huixinxijie Metro Station. Their Harbin Sausage is made using the shop's secret recipe, which gives it the salty and garlic taste. It's not greasy, yet still juicy. The main ingredients are lean pork and beef. The sausage comes in two different flavors: traditional and less spicy. During my visit, the price was RMB 45.6 / kg.

Although the store features Harbin Sausage, they do have other kinds of sausages made of chicken or beef.
