Clarie, a Denmark brand featuring attire for the office lady, is becoming quite popular in Beijing. To see what the fuss is, I visited its outlets near the Central University of Nationalities in northwest of Beijing.
Upon entering the store, I saw newly designed dresses and some discounted clothes near the entrance. The racks held a large selection of both business and casual attire.
I pick out a cotton skirt on sale, with a nice colorful figure in the front. After the 70% discount, it costs RMB 98. Without discounts, the apparels at Claries would cost RMB 50 to RMB 400.
