Famous sports shoes brand at low prices

Although brands like Nike and Adidas are extremely famous in China, their high prices make them inaccessible to most consumers. These consumers instead choose local brands like Double-Stars instead. Although they do offer other products, Double-Shoes specializes in athletic shoes.

As I entered its shop on the 5th floor of the Anzhen Hualian plaza, various sports shoes in white and black covered the shelves. The shop assistant recommended me a pair of white walking shoes named “easy walking”, which costs RMB 86. This simply designed shoe’s outermost layer is made of cow leather. The heel is very comfortable and provids good support.

The biggest advantage of Double-stars over competitors is the price. The prices ranged from RMB 70 to RMB 200 during my visit. Whereas Nike and Addidas shoes usually cost at least RMB 500 in China.

The shop assistants could speak a little English.
