YOSHINOYA, a Japanese Fast Food Restaurant

As one of the most popular fast food chains in China, Yoshinoya is all over the city of Beijing. This restaurant comes from Japan, featuring Eastern-style and fusion dishes. The Yoshinoya that I frequent is near the Huaxing Theater in Haidian district.

According to the waitress, their most famous dish is the beef rice (RMB 10). Not only is it cheap, but also customers never get tired of it. Yoshinoya's beef rice is made with a special thin-sliced beef and mixed vegetables of cauliflower, lettuce, and carrots.

Personally, I prefer the chicken rice, which is similar to the beef rice except the meat is chicken. I order it individually, but customers may also order with a side dish and a drink.  

You can easily order the dishes from the pictures on the wall, so language is not a problem.
