Click to display in larger size ¡°Snow land and the Potala Palace," one of the few Tibetan shops in Beijing, offers ethnic accessaries transported directly from Tibet. As I stepped into the store, I was impressed by its atmosphere. It felt little small, but the decorations really lit up the shop.
The shop owner regularly travels to Tibet to hand-picks his merchandises. He told me that local Tibetans favored tophus, malachite, and red coral for materials. He recommended me a beautiful blue necklace with a tophus & silver pendant and a tophus & malachite chain (RMB 526). I especially liked the colors myself.
Prices varied greatly, from RMB 5 souvenirs to RMB 1500 jewelry. And you can learn more about the art of this exotic, faraway land.
What I appreciated: Various levels of prices; learn more about Tibetan culture
What customers appreciate: Various levels of prices; accessaries of ethnic groups
