On the southeast corner of Guomao Bridge, I found a 7-Eleven convenience store near the corner of the Exchange Beijing building. As a branch of the world¡¯s biggest convenience store chain, 7-eleven has locations everywhere in Beijing, all open 24 hours a day.
As you would expect from a convenience store, 7-Elven sells all sorts of everyday items. Magazines like Vogue and Fashion hang on racks. The isles are filled with soaps, shampoos, snacks, beverages, etc. The refrigerated area features ready-to-eat rice balls, desserts, and dairy products.
What makes this shop different from the counterparts in US, aside from the lack of a gas station, is the Chinese-style fast food served from 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. They offer steamed stuffed buns, minced pork congee with preserved egg, and various stewed food, all fresh and inexpensive.
What I appreciate Everyday commodities, Chinese fast food.
What customers appreciate Commodities for daily use, Chinese-style fast food, inexpensive prices.
