Wangshi is a specialty store that only sells honey products. It is well-known in Beijing, with many exclusive outlets. I visited its location in the basement of Anzhen Hualian Plaza.

Inside, I saw an astonishing variety of honey products. The helpful shop assistant told me that the Wangshi brand comes from the Jiangxi province, where all everything is made in.

The store attracts customers of all ages, who prefer honey over sugar for its healthiness. Here, customers can choose from different types of honey, some are divided by category of trees, like Zaohua honey, Huaihua honey, and Ziyunshan honey. Others are categorized by their unique tastes. The shop assistant recommends Huaihua honey (RMB 46), a thick honey with a flowery sweet taste. Huaihua is recently their best-seller.  

In addition honey, the shop offeres other be products, such as bee pollen powder and royal jelly.

Prices range from RMB 30 to RMB 1000. There is no bargaining room.
