Cang Gu Ge is a second-hand shop, and a branch of the Beijing Second-hand Redistribution Center.
At the shop, used cameras, watches and jewelry are arranged in showcases. Most cameras and watches were made in China. The jewelry includes jade bracelets and necklace pendants in the shapes of Buddha, Guanyin (the Goddess of Mercy), and others, which are retailed here at below RMB 400.
Replicas of ancient Chinese landscape paintings cost RMB 150 each. Among those, I noticed a frame with eight miniature tea accessories, sold for RMB 150. Many porcelain vases and old Chinese-style wooden jewel boxes are displayed on the shelves. Prices for these boxes range from RMB 38 to RMB 350.
A gray miniature Chinese screen wall, priced at RMB 200, could appeal to collectors. The shop also carries a wide variety of second-hand Chinese furniture in an adjacent showroom.
What customers appreciate Good variety of second-hand articles, traditional Chinese style, reasonable prices.
