Shopping for Accessories in Beijing

If you are tired of shopping malls, if you want to buy some individualized accessories, if you would like to have a relaxing afternoon in Beijing, Shenghuoshiji might be a good choice.

Shenghuoshiji is famous for selling special design accessories.

The shop looks tidy and clean, with plenty of accessories displayed on shelves and in glass counters: Chinese ethnic accessories, imported Thai purses, and hand-made bags.

They sell leather shoes for women (high-heels and flats) in green and silver colors. Their models have an open- ended tip, they are sexy, and they don’t bear any pattern.

Purses and bags are hand-made in silk and leather. The former are rectangular in shape; handbags are small with tiny handles. Some feature embroidered patterns such as butterflies, Chinese dragons, and totems.

Prices for shoes are RMB 200-400. Purses cost RMB 70-180, bags RMB 200-500. The shop has one type of merchandise on sale every day.      

The shop assistants are industrious; they often rearrange merchandise, and clean the glass counters.
