Chinese Design, tailored for Foreigners

Despite just recently moved to the bustling Sanlitun area only a year ago, Zimanlang Fashion Designing Studio is already a popular place for foreigners. So much so that they make up 99% of the clientele.

Zimanlang carries a wide selection of cotton, wool, cashmere, linen, silk, and satin fabric. Tailors working on-site can create a variety of clothing: western suits, office garments, skirts, Qipao, and night gown. The shop also sells ties and silk scarves with varying patterns and sizes.

The staff is very friendly and can communicate in English. The owner is also very experienced, tailoring for over 20 years. With many foreign customers, including several ambassadors among his clients, he knows how to design clothing for westerners.

Prices range from RMB 800 for an office wear to RMB 2000 for a night gown. They are all made to order, and delivery is available upon request.
