Mian Ai Mian (Noodles Love Noodles) is a Japanese restaurant chain with many locations in Beijing. I went to the location on the first floor of Yueshow Fashion Market. This is a great place to sit and rest after shopping at the market, or having visited the nearby Dong Yue Temple. As an Eastern style fast-food shop, patrons can enjoy fast service, low prices, and clean atmosphere for an enjoyable lunch or light dinner. One does not need to speak Chinese to order food here, as they are used to serving foreigners.
Mian Ai Mian serves fried & saut¨¦ed dishes, noodles, and soups. Customers favor the Japanese curry dishes. Pumpkin Curry Set (RMB 19/23), Roast Pork Curry (RMB 23), and Chicken Curry (RMB 23) are among the most popular dishes. Two patrons there also absolutely loved the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempuras.
The prices here are consistent with fast food restaurants, which are roughly RMB 20-30 for a ¡°full combo¡±. In addition to the main dishes, the restaurant also offers beers and ice creams.
