With 4 hair salons in Beijing, Fujun has become a popular place for young people because of the personality they can give your hair. If you want to give your hair a new look, Fujun can definitely help you out.
I visited its branch near Madian, by the middle North 3rd Ring Rd. Purple and white colors decorated the entrance. The assistants greeted me warmly, and served me some water while I waited. Everyone inside is definitely very nice. The salon assistants asked me to pick either their regular hairdresser, or star hairdresser. Their ¡®star¡¯ hairdressers are some of the best in the business, but also much more costly.
I asked for a regular haircut for RMB 30, which includes a discussion with the hairdresser on your hairstyle, and a complimentary shoulder massage after your haircut. More advanced services would cost up to RMB 800. Service by their star hairdressers sometimes requires an appointment. Price starts at RMB 280 for a haircut. But people with hard-to-cut hair definitely feel it's worth it.
